Compelling travel images
Travel must be in my blood! At K2O we spend two or three months each year travelling at home and abroad. Recent hugely enjoyable trips have been to Australia, New Zealand, and the USA, and we’re already planning journeys to Patagonia and Nepal.
These months away are intense sources of inspiration for my creative eye. I try to capture the beautiful or unfamiliar – the peaks of a mountain range scouring a sky of deepest blue; giant mesas isolated from each other in a broad expanse of red desert; the busy wake of a speedboat disturbing the dead calm of a stretch of water; or a venture into the abstract with a
fragment of roof isolated from a cityscape.
Travelling high above unfamiliar and remote parts of the world with my camera is an inspiring experience I feel the need to share, and my aim is to transmit my creativity and enthusiasm into my images.
